Serica is a single-binary web search and article-extraction service: one ~16 MB Rust binary, no API keys, search and extract over REST and MCP.
Serica Cloud would be the same two calls, search and
extract, with nothing to install or keep running. That matters
when the caller is a CI job, a serverless function, a laptop without a Rust
toolchain, or an agent: anywhere an HTTPS request can go, the same search
and extraction are available. It also takes the one operational chore of
self-hosting, keeping the search integration healthy as upstreams change,
off your plate.
